Mamonkwe Trading CC is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees. We aim to prevent accidents and incidents in the workplace by managing and identifying health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace. We will achieve this by following these principles:
Arrangements:
- Prioritize the health and safety of all employees and or visitors who come into our working space
- Promote and encourage safety and responsibility among all employees and supervisors
- Have administrative meetings with employees to encourage health and safety in the workplace
- Assess all risks and hazards in the workplace and implement controls to reduce or eliminate them.
- Get feedback from employees on how to improve safety and health in our working activities
- Provide appropriate tools and machinery, checked and assessed for any hazards
- Operators to be checked for operators’ licences and all drivers to be checked for licences, to avoid accidents and reckless driving
- Provide training and induction for all employees, inform them of safety and health policies, company procedures and work ethics
- Inform workers of their responsibility for their safety and health and the safety and health of their fellow worker
- Evaluate controls, new tasks, new development and technologies and communicate it with every employee
